Brandon Brown, known as “Pastor Funk”, is a Memphis-born musician, bandleader, and producer celebrated for his soulful, high-energy performances that blend funk, spirituality, and purpose. A respected leader in L.A.’s funk and soul scene, Brandon has worked with legends like Stevie Wonder, The Jacksons, Smokey Robinson, Isaac Hayes, Boyz II Men, Fergie, and PJ Morton. He has served as musical director for major live shows, including Stevie Wonder at Taste of Soul and The Jacksons. Through his band, The Brandon Brown Collective (The BBC), he’s collaborated with artists like Anderson Paak, Kanye West’s Sunday Service, NPG, and Childish Gambino.

Emi Secrest is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter from Memphis, now based in L.A., known for her powerful vocals, bold songwriting, and genre-blending soul/R&B sound. Grammy Nominated songwriter MacKenzie has been a natural performer since his early days growing up in Virginia. As with any artist, more importantly than where he was raised is what he was raised on. In MacKenzie's case, he has studied influential and soulful artists like James Brown, Prince, Freddie Mercury, and Michael Jackson since he was a toddler. Immersing himself in such timeless music fanned the spark inside him that would consume his being. Today, that internal spark manifests itself as contagious energy, both on and off stage, that will move generations the world over.

A graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, he approaches every project as a collaboration between sound and story—shaping music that grows organically from the film itself. His scores are marked by subtle textures, purposeful silence, and a focus on enhancing narrative emotion.

CALEB MINTER

Caleb Minter is a pop-soul singer and bandleader from Bolivar, Tennessee, now based in Los Angeles. A featured vocalist in Kanye West’s Sunday Service, he’s opened for Anthony Hamilton and Tweet, and performed at Ebony Magazine’s James Brown tribute. His debut EP It’s On You and live shows with The Structure Band showcase his soulful sound and powerful message. He also founded MAGNUM, a movement against gun violence, in honor of his late brother

Dominique Xavier

DOMINIQUE XAVIER

Dominique Xavier Taplin, a native of Oakland, California, and raised in Oklahoma City, is a distinguished keyboardist and composer. He holds degrees in Classical Piano and Audio Engineering Post-Production from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. Taplin was among the final keyboardists to perform with Prince prior to his passing and currently tours and records with internationally acclaimed artists including Toto, Ghost-Note, Daley, and Snoh Aalegra, demonstrating exceptional musicianship across a wide range of contemporary genres.

DeVaughn Durham

DEVAUGHN DURHAM

DeVaughn Durham is a distinguished multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer, specializing in saxophone and flute. He is currently pursuing a degree in Jazz Studies at the University of North Texas and performs with the esteemed 3 O’Clock Lab Band. Durham has contributed to recordings such as Winners by The Parker Experience, and his original compositions reflect a sophisticated blend of genres, technical mastery, and artistic innovation.

Daniel Rodriguez

DANIEL RODRIGUEZ

Born on September 19, 1984 in Bayamo, Granma, Cuba. At 12 years old, he sang for a children’s group called “Chicos Soneros”. It was his first public performance and it was there where he realized his love for percussion. Years later he became one of the best and most talented percussionists in the music industry since 1998. Who has worked with and shared the stage with, Arturo Sandoval, Karl Perazo, Carlos Santana, Eric Benet, Jose Feliciano, Carrie Underwood, The Brother Johnson, Cecilia Noel & The Wild Clam, Shadmehr Aghili , Willy Chirino, Becky G, Colin Hay, and many more.

The Gumbo Brothers, founded in 2002 by guitarist and vocalist Johann Stein, are a Los Angeles-based ensemble specializing in hip-hop and New Orleans–inspired funk and jazz. Over the years, the band has released multiple albums, performed on international stages, and appeared on television. They are a staple of the Los Angeles music scene, regularly performing at public concerts and maintaining weekly residencies at renowned venues in Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles.

Trombonist Chris Johnson was born and raised in Inglewood, California. Exposed to music at a very young age, he has always shown a true love and passion for it. Chris fell in love with the trombone when he was 11 years old after hearing his middle school music teacher playing one day after school. Chris can be seen and heard regularly performing, recording and touring with some of the most iconic artists in the music industry. Some of these artists include Beyoncé, Jay Z, Stevie Wonder, Raphael Saadiq, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Jamie Foxx, Mary Mary, Ledisi, Cardi B, Aloe Blacc, The Brandon Brown Collective, Jennifer Hudson, Solange Knowles and Macy Gray, to name a few.
